Konavle Gastro And Culture Tour
Konavle, located just outside Dubrovnik, boasts a rich history, tradition, and natural beauty.
Surrounded by mountains, rivers, vineyards, and crops, it’s an ideal spot for nature lovers and
foodies.
Our first stop is the coastal town of Cavtat, where we’ll explore the streets, promenade, and rich history of Konavle. We’ll learn about its ancient Illyrian, Greek, and Roman roots and their significance in Dubrovnik’s development. You’ll also have free time to explore Cavtat on your own.
Stop two is a local winery, where we’ll taste some of the region’s finest wines paired with smoked ham, cheese, fresh vegetables, and local olive oil while enjoying the authentic flavors of Konavle and stunning vineyard views.
Our third stop is the Franciscan monastery in Pridvorje. We will also visit a presentation in the archeological museum which houses a unique collection of artifacts and exhibits.
The fourth stop is a presentation of an old mill with Ivo Đivanović. You will have the opportunity to witness the traditional milling process and learn about the history of the mill.
